In december, Mayflower Bookshop hosted her two Christmas classics: ‘Dinner for One’ and ‘A Christmas Carol’: once again, both events enjoyed great success!!
On December 17th, the two matinee performances of Dinner for One were once more performed by the Mayflower Theatre Company, featuring Roland de Ligny as James and Freek Bouricius as Miss Sophy. This year, the intimate performance of a small stage made even the attending children cry with laughter!
On December 22nd, Freek Bouricius read a shortened version of Dickens’ ‘A Christmas Carol’, the audience listened spell-bound while partaking of some mulled wine and mincepies.
‘Same procedure next year, miss Sophy?’ ‘Same procedure as every year, James!’
