On December 19th, traditionally the reading of Dickens’s A Christmas Carol took place, in a snug atmosphere in our bookshop, for an audience that likes to begin its Christmas, as we do, with that timeless Christmas story!
On December 29th, the last performance of our December classic took place, performed by the Mayflower Theatre Company (Freek Bouricius and Roland de Ligny) under direction of house director Sigrid de Zwart. This year was no different from previous years in attracting a large audience for this short British sketch. No worries, your bookshop is already working on a new December event!
